The Walking Dead will officially be wrapping up the show in a day or so, as of writing this article. Fan demand is high for Andrew Lincoln to return as Rick Grimes, with many questioning if they will deliver.
We did report earlier this year in regards to whether Andrew Lincoln will be involved, but now a new video has surfaced online that hasn’t been taken down yet which alleges to be the opening sequence of the final episode. However, fans speculate that the video is just a fan edit and nothing more.
The video of the opening scene contains Andrew Lincoln’s name smack bang at the beginning, which would be unusual, to say the least. The video has been deemed fake by the majority of Walking Dead fans, but some are staying hopeful about the news. You can watch the alleged video below, that being said, if it is real then it could very well be taken down.
Real or Fake? Here’s The Breakdown
Editors online have deemed it fake and altered, not that it is easy to decipher with the naked eye. Also, the opening of the finale has been shared online via AMC+, which doesn’t seem to match up with this alleged leak.
In the video, you can hear Rick Grimes’ famous quote ‘We are the walking dead’, which can not be heard during the opening shared online. Nevertheless, we will all find out what is going on once the finale officially airs, you can stream the final episode on AMC+ and/or Disney+.
