Andrew Lincoln returns as Rick Grimes in 2024 for the spin-off sequel series to The Walking Dead that will be solely focused on Rick Grimes and Michonne’s story as they take on the sinister CRM, currently entitled The Walking Dead: Summit, aka The Walking Dead: Rick & Michonne.
According to an alleged image of a “call sheet” for the upcoming series, which is set to finish filming this week as of writing this article, Lincoln’s Rick Grimes might just be losing something that he also lost during the original comic adaptation.

As stated on the call sheet, details of cast and prop items being used were listed, including the alleged reveal that Terry O’Quinn will be playing Major General Beale, the leader of the CRM who was mentioned throughout the spin-off series The Walking Dead: World Beyond.
However, one prop item manages to stand out amongst the rest, as fans of the franchise quickly took to respond to the image on Twitter posted by @steve_71, quickly realising that a massive spoiler may have just been shared with information of a prop being for Rick Grimes’ hand.
Rick Grimes’ “Handless Wrist” Revealed?
Rick Grimes famously loses his hand to the Governor in the comics adaptation of The Walking Dead, something that never came to pass in the live-action telling of the story, however, according to these new alleged details, it might just finally be happening to Lincoln’s version of the character.
The details of Rick Grimes’ hand on the alleged call sheet, which is listed several times, go into fairly detailed descriptions as to what to expect, if true. The image itself is somewhat blurry, however, the listed details seen can roughly be read as “Rick’s left hand prosthetic (blade/…) & prosthetic w/ blade” and “Rick’s handless wrist prosthetic (wrapped)”.
