Despite the third installment in the Ant-Man franchise still being about a week away from releasing to the public audience, the next sequel in the series is already being talked about at the Marvel Studios headquarters.
So far, only Thor has seen four official movie installments in the MCU, played by Chris Hemsworth who has also appeared in various other projects similar to Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang.
In a recent interview with ComicBook during the press junket for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, producer of the movie Stephen Broussard confirmed that the team is already discussing a fourth installment at Marvel Studios.
Broussard told ComicBook that they are “already thinking about it [ANT-MAN 4]” and that conversations “have already started to happen between myself [Stephen Broussard] and Peyton [Reed] and Kevin [Feige].”

If Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe receives the green light for a fourth movie, this will make him a title holder for being the second-ever actor to have four standalone films, with Chris Hemsworth being the first.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will also be kicking off the fifth phase of the MCU, which is also a title by itself.
Stephen Broussard’s confirmation on discussions being held at Marvel Studios is definitely not an official announcement of any kind that a fourth installment is in the works.
However, with the massively high anticipation and excitement for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania that has been seen by the fanbase, it might just become a reality.
Marvel Studios proved with Thor: Love and Thunder that they aren’t too strict on sticking to only giving their characters three standalone films, with the possible fourth Ant-Man movie potentially setting a trend for the future.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania comes to theaters on the 17th of February, 2023.
