Well, Merry effin’ Christmas because Art the Clown is returning for a Yuletide wretch fest.
Bloody Disgusting and Cineverse, creators of the Terrifier franchise, have confirmed Art the Clown and his next gory gallivanting will be a “Christmas Horror movie.”
Just what the kids needed.
Damien Leone, director of the deeply twisted Terrifier trilogy, has come forward with a sneak peek teaser of Art the Clown in all his haemoglobin hilarity.
For those of you speculating that the Terrifier 3 teaser is just gonna be some 20 second gimmick, I assure you it’s a legit teaser/trailer, it’s over 2 minutes long, and you’re gonna f****** love it. Exclusively in theaters November 1st!
There is Art the Clown in all his gory…eh, glory.
He wrote his name in someone’s blood on the wall because markers are in high demand near the holidays. If you pay close attention to the tree, the tinsel adorning the ornaments was replaced with some unfortunate Yuletide Caroler’s entrails. Some misanthrope elves’ scalped faces are glistening by the red and green lights. And does anyone want to guess where that Santa mask hanging around Art the Clown’s neck originated?
Poor Saint Nick. He won’t be so holly jolly this year. But Leone won’t pay too much attention to him. Why? There are some sick people in this world.
Terrifier 2 was made with a paltry budget of $250,000 (probably for the hazmat team’s cleaning fees) and turned that into a treasure trove of $15 million. People reportedly passed out in theaters, puked up their nachos, and some faint-of-tummy fans even had to be rescued by paramedics. And the trifecta-making addition to the franchise is probably aiming to top that.
If this is your jam, two things:
- You have been warned, so please enjoy.
- We, here at CoveredGeekly, will pray for you. Sick freaks.
