‘Wakanda Forever’ Runtime Is Second Longest In The MCU

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is set to be the ultimate MCU Phase 4 movie, preceding Phase 5’s Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania. A new report has revealed that it could also be the longest MCU Phase 4 movie, dethroning Chloé Zhao’s Eternals, which had a runtime of 2 hours and 36 minutes. Learn more about Wakanda Forever‘s runtime below.

According to a new update to prominent theater chains Cineplex and Regal‘s websites, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’s runtime has been listed to be 161 minutes (2 hours and 41 minutes) long, making it the second longest MCU movie to date, and the longest non-Avengers MCU movie. But hold your horses, because movie theater chains have a long history of having placeholder runtimes, such as Brazilian ticketing website Ingresso listing a 148-minute runtime for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, or U.K. theater chain Cineworld listing a 140-minute runtime for Thor: Love And Thunder, both of which turned out to be inaccurate.
