Despite Blumhouse‘s live-action Five Nights at Freddy’s movie still being about half a year away from release as of writing this article, new reports are now surfacing that the studio already has two sequels in the works, with the second instalment reportedly setting sights to begin production, and release, in 2024.
CoveredGeekly recently reported that news on a live-action Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 being in the works at Blumhouse had been shared online, however, new information is now making rounds on the web stating that a Five Nights at Freddy’s 3 is also in the works, with information suggesting that a new FNAF movie will be released each year, with 2023 kicking them off with the first instalment, Five Nights at Freddy’s.
‘FNAF 2’ & ‘FNAF 3’ Now In The Works?
The reported information comes from a Twitter account called @CoqProd which claims to have spoken to a crew member from the production of the franchise, sharing screenshots of a conversation between the two, with talks about the next two instalments going into production in 2024 and 2025.
According to the report, Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 is set to begin production in January 2024, similar to the first instalment’s production timeframe, with Five Nights at Freddy’s 3 aiming to begin production in 2025, in stellar speeds, potentially meaning that each instalment of the franchise will be aiming to release in the same year that it begins production, most likely for an October release date.
