Blumhouse has officially confirmed that something Five Nights at Freddy’s movie-related is headed to the BlumFest panel tonight at New York Comic Con – and CoveredGeekly will be there to bring you all the LIVE updates.
The movie based on the popular video game series with the same name is set to be released later this month, just weeks away from tonight’s Blumhouse panel where they’re expected to talk about not just FNAF but several other flicks as well – such as The Exorcist: Believer, Totally Killer, and perhaps M3GAN 2.
Scream star Matthew Lillard stars as the sinister Wiliam Afton aka Springtrap, alongside The Hunger Games star Josh Hutcherson who brings to life a character that many of the original game fans will empathise with – the night security guard – the character you mainly play as throughout the original games.
