Captain America 4 Has Reportedly Cast 'Alita Battle Angel' Star Rosa Salazar

Rosa Salazar has reportedly been spotted on the set of Marvel Studios’ Captain America: New World Order in full costume, filming alongside Seth “Freakin” Rollins who was also spotted on the same shoot, however, it seems that Salazar has only now been identified.

It has yet to be officially confirmed as to whether or not Salazar has joined the cast, however, if true, this only increases the number of surprise cast members being added to the sequel’s roster, potentially meaning that Marvel Studios have some new spoiler-safe methods in place, besides from the odd set image revealing some minor secrets now and then.

Murphys Multiverse was first to identify Salazar in the recent film set images shared on the internet only a couple of weeks ago, stating that she will be playing the Marvel Serpent Society member, Diamondback aka Rachel Leighton, with the Serpent Society being a group of villains whose involvement in the plot still remains in complete secrecy.

Diamondback has a strong past with Captain America during the original comic storylines, once with a Mr. Steve Rogers, now most likely to be with Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson who has now taken on the mantle of Captain America since the events of Avengers: Endgame, officially donning the suit and shield during The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

However, Salazar’s casting, as mentioned, has yet to be confirmed by the cast and crew of the fourth official Captain America instalment in Marvel Studios’ Marvel Cinematic Universe, so take this news with a pinch of salt until further information is announced.

Captain America: New World Order is set to hit theatres on May 3, 2024.
