Charlie Cox’s return to playing Daredevil received a very warm welcome from critics and audiences alike, in 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home, when the character defended Peter Parker and Happy Hogan from the DODC; as well as She-Hulk: Attorney At Law, when the masked vigilante fought against and with Jennifer Walters in the west coast. In just two appearances, the character became a fan-favourite and managed to be very different yet similar to the Netflix show.
The character will soon have his own MCU series on Disney+, titled Daredevil: Born Again. The series spans 18 episodes, and will feature Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock, and Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin. Details about other ex-cast members reprising their roles are unkown at the time of writing this article. This marks The Man Without Fear’s third MCU appearance (unless he makes a cameo appearance this year!), after Spider-Man: No Way Home and She-Hulk: Attorney At Law.

We know that filming for the Daredevil reboot is scheduled to start filming early next month on March 6, 2023, and will last throughout the year to end on November 15, 2023. This marks the longest production schedule for a series produced by Marvel Studios. Hopefully, this means an year full of set images for us to break down!
The premise of this series is currently under wraps. We know from reports that it will feature the influence of Italian Mafia, and possibly involve the Tracksuits gang from Hawkeye. Vincent D’Onofrio has teased the series to be “very different” than the Netflix series, and “very cool”. and Charlie Cox has indicated that it will feature more courtroom scenes. Given that the series has several real-life lawyers, such as David Feige and Thomas Wong under its hood, we can’t wait to see how it turns out.
