When Netflix revealed that they were producing a live-action reboot of the Marvel Comics character ‘Daredevil’, this sparked instant curiosity from fans all around the world. The debut of the first series completely reinvented what we had seen in Ben Affleck’s earlier take, becoming one of the most iconic comic-book adaptations of all time.
However, after many successful years of lore building and the universe expanding on Netflix with the Defenders saga, it all came to a devastating end in 2018 when it was announced that Netflix would be passing the rights to the MCU. Sparking campaigns such as the #SaveDaredevil petitions that garnered the attention of millions; even Charlie Cox.
Thankfully, the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home did something that we could only dream of, and introduced Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock to the big screen, officially making his character canonical to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Then again Disney Plus’ She-Hulk series, shows a new light on the character with Cox delivering a lighter and more comedic version of Daredevil, which we hadn’t really seen before; and may not want to see again.

Also, while talking to NME, Charlie Cox shared how he feels about the change of tone when it comes to his usually dark and gritty take on the street hero Matt Murdock.
