The cast and crew of the upcoming spin-off series to Matt Reeves’ The Batman, The Penguin, is deep in production as of writing this article, with Farrell who plays the titular character recently being spotted shadowboxing on the set of the series as he prepares to film scenes for the DC project.
Cristin Milioti who plays Sofia Falcone can also be seen in the new set video, standing just a few feet away from the shadowboxing Farrell, Milioti’s Sofia Falcone is the daughter of DC’s Carmine Falcone, a character portrayed by John Turturro in the Robert Pattinson-led The Batman movie.

The confirmed cast for The Penguin, so far, includes Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepot, aka the Penguin, Clancy Brown as Salvatore Maroni, Cristin Milioti as Sofia Falcone, Alex Anagnostidis as Ray, Theo Rossi, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Carmen Ejogo, Michael Zegen, Michael Kelly, Deirdre O’Connell, James Madio, Scott Cohen, François Chau, David H. Holmes, Anthony Gullotta, and Rhenzy Feliz – as per the official IMDB page.
The Penguin series is expected to be released on HBO Max, soon to be MAX, sometime in 2024.
