Sony’s Amy Pascal has officially confirmed with Variety that a live-action Miles Morales-led Spider-Man movie is now in the works at Sony. Something that Spidey fans have been dreaming of for many years now. Teased by Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man and Jamie Foxx’s Electro in Marvel Studios’ Spider-Man: No Way Home. It’s finally happening.
When talking with Variety at the Los Angeles premiere of Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse, producer Amy Pascal confirmed that a Spider-Woman and live-action Miles Morales movie is in the works over at Sony.
“You’ll see all of it, it’s all happening.”

Who’s Playing The Live-Action Miles Morales?
Details as to who will be starring as the live-action Miles Morales are currently being kept tightly under wraps over at Sony. it could even be safe to assume that nobody has been picked for the role as of writing this article.
However, the Miles Morales voice actor from the animated Spider-Verse franchise Shameik Moore has been heavily fan-cast and theorised to be the top choice for a live-action Miles Morales over at Sony.
Moore has been extremely vocal in the past about how much he loves portraying the character and even told Empire Magazine that he’d be up for the live-action gig.
“I feel like everyone knows I would be a great [live-action] Miles Morales. As I left the theatre after that premiere, Jamie Foxx looked at me like… he knew (…) I think Tom Holland knows, too.”

As mentioned, details of Sony’s live-action Miles Morales movie are currently being kept under wraps. Sony’s Tom Rothman even joked when asked about their future for the Spider-Verse franchise by saying “If I told you, I’d have to kill you.”
