Daredevil: Born Again has been in production for 3 weeks, and it has filmed scenes all over New York, including Yonkers, Harlem, Williamsburg, the Supreme Court, Christian Parishes, and more. Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio are both set to return to playing Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk, and Jon Bernthal is set to return as Frank Castle/The Punisher in this show
New set images feature Daredevil: Born Again filming near Father Duffy Square in Times Square, New York. Several background actors were seen sporting Pym Van Dyne Foundation merchandise. In case you need a refresher, the Pym Van Dyne Foundation was founded by Hope Van Dyne, who used the resources left over by Pym Technologies to solve deforestation and world hunger.

A person with a ‘FISK’ foam fist can also be seen in the above images, which might suggest that Wilson Fisk will run for the Mayoral elections in New York, which was widely rumoured at one point.
When Does ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Take Place?
Matt Murdock’s last appearance in the MCU was in She-Hulk: Attorney At Law. The penultimate episode of She-Hulk saw Jennifer Walters meeting the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen, fighting against him, and ultimately teaming up with him to rescue Luke Jacobson from Leap-Frog’s lair. According to MCU Wiki, the events of this episode took place on August 15, 2025.
We know that Daredevil: Born Again will take place after She-Hulk, which would place the New Year’s celebrations in 2026; January 2026, to be precise. This would place it right after Werewolf By Night and The Guardians Of The Galaxy Holiday Special, which both take place in December 2025.
Charlie Cox On Playing Daredevil
Speaking with Business Post, Charlie Cox reflected on playing Matt Murdock in the Netflix series.
“When you play a Marvel character, you do immediately become more recognisable, and the fan base is incredibly enthusiastic and passionate, it’s great when the fans feel like what you’re doing is good and they appreciate the character that you’ve created, and the show is successful and well regarded. But equally if that wasn’t to be the case, I’m sure it feels pretty lonely.”
