Daredevil: Born Again is now in production, and it is set to be the MCU’s longest Disney+ series yet! After the cancellation of the Netlfix series in 2018, a Marvel Studios reboot of the show was rumored for quite a long while.
We finally got our first glimpse at Matt Murdock in the MCU in Spider-Man: No Way Home, in which Matt helped Peter get past his legal issues.
After almost an entire year, we finally got a deeper look at The Man without Fear in the 8th episode of She-Hulk: Attorney At Law. He goes all the way from Hells Kitchen in New York to Los Angeles on the west coast to defend his tailor, Luke Jacobson.
He schools Jen in court, after which they battle – but as their alter-egos, Daredevil and She-Hulk. He also gets a new golden-red suit, and confirms that he has a couple more suits in the closet, which we can’t wait to see!
‘Daredevil’ Showrunner Reacts To ‘Born Again’ TV-MA Rating
Marvel Studios has now set its eyes on making adult-oriented projects, with Marvel Zombies being TV-MA (practically an R rating, just for television), as well as the ‘Untitled Deadpool and Wolverine Movie’. With Phase 4, the studio also started fitting in everything they could, but still keeping the PG-13 badge for audiences.
Just a week ago, Insider Daniel Richtman shared that Daredevil: Born Again will “likely” be TV-MA. Quoting another tweet reporting the same, Netflix’s Daredevil showrunner Steven DeKnight said, “Love it!”.
If you’re wondering whether Steven will work on this show, as well, here is what he stated on Twitter:
“I would but I’m currently unavailable for the next few years due to other commitments. Plus I want the new creative team to be free to do their thing!”
