The first trailer for the upcoming Warner Bros. Pictures DC movie entitled Blue Beetle will be dropping the first trailer “soon” as George Lopez, who will be starring as Rudy, confirmed via his Instagram account yesterday.
Blue Beetle is the comic book film adaptation based on the DC character also known as Jaime Reyes, a Mexican-American teenager who mysteriously gains superpowers when an ancient scarab binds to his spine, also providing him with a powerful, technological and blue suit.
Injustice 2, the popular DC fighting game, included Blue Beetle/ Jamie Reyes as a playable character and as a vital part of the game’s main storyline, with the first live-action film adaptation set to release later this year.
It looks like DC may be giving the general DC fandom a new favourite choice when choosing through their top superheroes, however, promotional content for the new movie has been dry as of late, leaving fans wondering when the first trailer is going to be released.
‘Blue Beetle’ First Official Trailer Coming Soon
Actor and comedian George Lopez took to Instagram yesterday to share the news that the first trailer for Blue Beetle will be “coming soon”, preparing fans to “stay tuned”, hinting that there may be an announcement soon.

It has been speculated that the trailer will be attached to the upcoming release of The Super Mario Bros. Movie, which will be coming to theatres on April 5, 2023.
If the trailer is indeed set to drop on the same day as the release of The Super Mario Bros. Movie, that would make Lopez’s post exactly two weeks away from the first trailer’s release date, and 13 days away as of the writing of this article.
