Hugh Jackman took to Instagram yesterday July 10th to reveal the first look at him as Wolverine in Marvel Studios’ Deadpool 3 alongside titular role holder Ryan Reynolds who also took to social media to share the news.

Director Shawn Levy and Ryan Reynolds also took to share the first look with all three sharing the image to their Instagram stories along with two potential cryptic clues.
Jackman and Reynolds both wrote “Don’t blink” to their individual Instagram stories while Levy took to write “Pinch me” on his.
This could be a sly tease that the two Marvel mutants Blink and Pinch will also be starring alongside Deadpool and Wolverine in the titular character’s third outing.

Interestingly, Blink has been seen alongside Jackman’s Wolverine before in then Fox-Marvel’s X-Men: Days of Future Past, played by Fan Bingbing (The 355, Skiptrace).
However, it’s Levy’s potential clue that points toward the yellow Deadpool 3 Wolverine seen played by Jackman being a part of a Marvel team never before seen in live-action.
Deadpool 3 To Introduce Marvel’s Offer’s Squad (Theory)
Levy taking to social media to write “Pinch”, as mentioned, could be a sly tease that Marvel’s Pinch aka Eryn is coming to the live-action Deadpool 3.
Who is she? Well, Pinch is a member of a team of goons run by a Marvel mob boss known as the Offer who has strong ties to none other than Wolverine himself.

During a brief run in the comics, Wolverine joined the Offer’s Squad whilst wearing the iconic yellow and blue sleeved suit as seen in the above Deadpool 3 set images.
Wolverine also met Pinch while serving as a goon for the Offer who both even ended up becoming romantically involved before parting ways.
Deadpool 3’s Yellow Wolverine Variant Theory
If this theory has any weight to it then the yellow Wolverine in Deadpool 3 played by Jackman could very well just be one of multiple variants.
Not to mention the fact that the Marvel Cinematic Universe and all universes adjacent are currently going through a huge multiverse saga at the moment.
Meaning that whether or not Marvel’s Offer’s Squad, including Pinch, make an appearance, it’s still likely that the yellow-suited Wolverine is just a variant.

Jackman might just be starring as various versions of Wolverine throughout the events of the 2024 Deadpool 3 movie, similar to how he played both a younger and older version of the character in X-Men: Days of Future Past.
Additional cast members from the then-Fox-Marvel Universe such as Even Peters, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Patrick Stewart, and Ian McKellen, among many others, could also be in for a chance to reprise their roles for the third Deadpool.
Could Emma Corrin Be Playing Pinch In Deadpool 3?
Who is Emma Corrin playing in Deadpool 3, could she be starring as Marvel’s Pinch?
As mentioned above, Marvel’s Pinch could very well be making her live-action debut in Levy and Reynolds’ Deadpool 3 alongside Jackman’s Wolverine.
Pinch has yet to be confirmed to actually be a character in the title, however, Levy’s Instagram post may potentially reveal a particular cast member’s character.

The Crown star Emma Corrin who has been confirmed to be starring in Marvel Studios’ Deadpool 3 may just be playing Pinch from Offer’s Squad in Deadpool 3.
Corrin’s Deadpool 3 character has yet to be confirmed mostly due to the typical secrecy behind these big-budget superhero flicks, especially when it comes to Marvel.
Marvel’s Blink, who was also potentially name-dropped, would most likely be played by Fan Bingbing again assuming she’d be up to reprise her Days of Future Past role.
Leaving it more open to assume that Corrin may very well be starring as Pinch, something that only the cast and crew of the movie can confirm to be true.
