Deadpool 3 will reportedly connect directly to the Time Variance Authority (TVA) aka the timeline-controlling organization recently run by Jonathan Majors‘ He Who Remains aka a variant of Kang the Conquerer during the first season of Loki.
In the recent report made by industry insider Daniel Richtman, details of the TVA’s involvement including supposed confirmation on recent filming were shared.
The inclusion of the TVA in Deadpool 3 has long been rumoured and speculated by the majority of the MCU fandom, mostly due to how much damage Ryan Reynolds’ Wade Wilson aka Deadpool is expected to cause to the Marvel multiverse.
Deadpool’s actions during the final moments of Deadpool 2 alone would have been considered more than enough to invoke a visit from the sinister TVA aka Time Variance Authority and their loyal Minutemen time police.
Deadpool 3 Will Reportedly Feature TVA’s Minutemen
According to industry insider Daniel Richtman aka DanielRPK, the Minutemen soldiers from the TVA will be featured in Deadpool 3.
Marvel’s Minutemen are the now famously known time police soldiers who work for the Time Variance Authority to capture people breaking their precious timeline rules.

They last featured during the events of the first season of Loki and can typically be seen sporting Storm Trooper-like uniforms in black and orange with “TVA” labels.
TVA Will Be Chasing Deadpool & Wolverine
According to the insider, the recent Deadpool 3 set images showing Ryan Reynolds shooting mysterious scenes in a forest will be connected to the TVA.
Daniel Richtman reports that both Reynolds’ Deadpool and Hugh Jackman‘s Wolverine filmed scenes in a forest where the two were being chased by the evil Time Variance Authority, which could explain the recent forest filming sightings.

As mentioned above, Deadpool’s actions in the previous instalment of the soon-to-be Deadpool trilogy will most likely be the main reason why the TVA are after him.
If true, this could mean that Owen Wilson will indeed be reprising his role as Mobius M. Mobius due to the character being rather high up within the TVA company.
Mobius may even be joined by Tom Hiddleston‘s Loki himself…
Why Will TVA Be Chasing Deadpool & Wolverine?
Details as to the specific reasoning behind the TVA chasing after Deadpool were not shared, however, it wouldn’t come as much of a surprise due to his behaviour.
Reynolds’ Deadpool spends the final moments of Deadpool 2 using a time travelling timeline hopping device to change certain events in the past.
Such as saving Morena Baccarin’s Vanessa, killing Ryan Reynolds who was seen reading the Green Lantern script, and even killing himself in X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
These actions have been long theorised to be a major plot point during the third instalment due to the current MCU saga being primarily focused on the multiverse.

Marvel’s Time Variance Authority would be more than aware of actions such as the above-mentioned and will most likely be on Deadpool’s tail from the jump.
As to how Wolverine gets mixed up in all of this remains a mystery but it may simply come down to Deadpool just dragging him into his mess involuntarily.
Deadpool 3 is currently set to release on May 3, 2024.
