Superman and Black Adam have both been talked about in the DCEU fandom, well forever really. Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam is officially out there, with full spoilers making it onto the web, like here for example. So here’s your SPOILER WARNING before you continue reading as all will be answered below.
One of the largest amounts of questioning from fans who haven’t seen the movie yet is if Superman is in the film or not. Does he show up, is it Henry Cavill playing him, and what would that mean for the DCEU? Well yes, Supes does make a brief appearance during Black Adam’s post-credit scene. We can confirm that Henry Cavill is indeed still playing the role, no surprise there really as it has been widely reported this past year.
Black Adam x Superman Scene Description
The post-credit scene reveals Henry Cavill emerging from a shroud of foggy mist, fully suited, to greet Black Adam.
He then says “it’s been a while since someone’s made the world this nervous” with enough tension for a sequel. It should be noted that this was reported first by MyTimeToShineHello and later by Daniel RPK.
