Ed Boon Debunks Recent Title Rumours
Last week, Boon took to Twitter on May 12 to seemingly debunk recent rumours that Mortal Kombat 12 will be titled Mortal Kombat 1, along with the various other reports that have been flooding the web as of late, as he shared a YouTube video shooting down the rumours.
With this new update from the game’s co-creator, it could be safe to assume that any rumours seen recently are all hocus, which technically hasn’t been confirmed by Boon, as he said on Twitter “Great video by @unCAGEDgamez shootin’ down the rumors!”
The video itself features popular YouTuber unCAGEDgamez sharing a rant about false “exclusives” being shared about the franchise’s upcoming instalment, a rant that Boon seems to agree with.
NetherRealm Studios’ 2023 Mortal Kombat game is set for a late 2023 release.
