New set images and videos of Emma Myers and the cast of BBC’s upcoming A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder series have been emerging online these past few weeks during its filming that will be wrapping this week.
The series is based on Holly Jackson’s bestselling novel of the same name and will place the Wednesday star into the lead role as Pippa Fitz-Amobi.
As we shared earlier this year, the series will see Myers’ Pip through a chaotic murder mystery after having doubts as to who truly murdered Andie Bell, a girl from her school, who most believe was committed by Bell’s boyfriend Sal Singh.
Starring alongside Myers includes Asha Banks as Cara Ward, Jude Collie as Connor Reynolds, Zain Iqbal as Ravi, Yali Topol Margalith as Lauren Gibson, and Raiko Gohara as Zach Chen, with Holly Jackson producing.
Motherland and Good Omens star Anna Maxwell Martin also stars as Pip’s mother Leanne as revealed by set images and videos online.
New AGGGTM Set Footage Revealed
Thanks to the Instagram account that goes by the name “‘a good girl’s guide to murder’ updates”, a plethora of set images and videos from the series production have been consistently posted to social media for quite some time now.
Myers and her fellow cast members, including the crew, have been spotted on various filming days with the cast being in full costume as they play out scenes in character. See below to see Myers filming as her character Pip with images that reveal her talking to the police as she investigates.
Another post reveals the original author and producer of the series, Holly Jackson, along with additional images of Myers in what seems to be another Pip outfit.
Actor Jackson Bews who is believed to be playing the character Daniel da Silver, brother of the character Natalie da Silva, can be seen alongside Myers below.
As aforementioned, Anna Maxwell Martin who is said to be playing the mother of Myers’ character can be seen below in these new AGGGTM set images.
Another batch of images reveals Myers’ Pip having an emotional hug with Martin, adding further fuel to the notion that Martin will indeed be starring as Pip’s mother Leanne.
“From the moment we announced that A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder was coming to the BBC I know there’s been a huge amount of speculation from fans about who will play Pip and Ravi (…) in Emma and Zain we’ve found two actors who embody the characters so perfectly it will feel as though they’ve stepped straight from the pages of Holly’s books on to our screens. I can’t wait for BBC Three viewers to see them in action.”
