The popular YouTuber known as Markiplier called out his ex-Unus Annus co-star Ethan Nestor two days ago during a livestream for stealing one of his video ideas.
The title of said livestream being “Ethan is DEAD to me” where he claimed that Nestor had “betrayed” him due to stealing a video idea from him, something that has been deemed as purely satirical by the majority of viewers.
Markiplier also seemingly confirmed that the two were no longer friends, something that came as a shock to some who instantly took to letting Nestor know in his “stolen” video’s comment section. Most believe it to all just be a joke, something that can technically only be confirmed by both Markiplier and Nestor themselves.
Ethan Nestor Responds To Markiplier
Nestor has now officially responded to Markiplier publicly calling him out, not directly, but by changing the video in question’s thumbnail and title.
When Markiplier outed Nestor for stealing one of his ideas, he also noted that Nestor used the thumbnail and title that he originally intended to use for his own video.
It should be noted, that as mentioned, this could all be completely satirical as the two have been known for having a good back-and-forth when it comes to content.
Nestor’s update came in the form of changing his video title to “This Game Made Markiplier HATE Me.” as well as changing the thumbnail to include an image of himself, with Markiplier shrugging his shoulders in the background.
It’s fair to assume that the two creators are just having fun with their audience[s].
However, some are still convinced the two are genuinely arguing with each other, with comments such as “How could you just straight out say u stole the idea from mark wow such a shame” and “how DARE YOU!! Betraying Mark like that you really have some nerve.. fake friend” still being left on the video post-change.
Additionally, other fans are taking to the comment section to respond to hateful comments by informing people that this is most likely one big inside joke between the two creators. See the video in question below.
