A new clip from Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania has been released on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon ahead of the movie’s release.
The clip opens up with Scott Lang, Hope Van Dyne, and Cassie Lang returning from a detention centre. While we don’t know the reason behind Cassie ending up in prison, Scott implies that it was regarding Pym Tech. Scott is unaware that Cassie was wearing the suit when she was caught, prompting a response he wasn’t to blame for.

Cassie says that she can take care of herself, and that she’s “pretty good at it by now”, referring to Scott’s 5-year disappearance from Earth during the blip.Scott feel hurt by her jab, which she apologises for. Scott wishes for Cassie to have a normal life, and Cassie claims that she never had a normal life, again referencing Darren Cross trying to kill her in 2015’s Ant-Man.

Darren Cross is set to return in this movie, as the Mechnical Organism Designed Only, and only for Killing; MODOK. The character was briefly featured in the official trailer. Even thought further details about the character are currently under wraps, you can read our theory on how Darren Cross might’ve turned into MODOK, and how this strays from the comics.

Hope tries to change the conversation by turning the car’s speakers on. To everyone’s surprise, Scott’s audiobook titled “Look Out For The Little Guy” resumes, to which Cassie asks him if he was listening to his own book. The end of this clip was used as the beginning of the San Diego Comic-Con trailer for the movie.
The scene mirrors the conversation between Scott and Hank Pym in 2018’s Ant-Man And The Wasp, when Hank calls Scott’s decision to mail the suit to Luis very irresponsible and hazardous. Hank regarded the technology as one of the most revolutionary, as well as dangerous inventions of all time. The scene ends up putting Scott at the wheel, and Cassie as Scott’s naive self.
