Karl Urban has taken to Instagram today to officially announce that Season 4 of Amazon Prime Video’s The Boys series has wrapped filming, along with posting a sort of first look at Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s mysterious character, who will be a recurring character throughout the fourth season.
Urban wrote inside his Instagram post:
“Oi That’s a picture wrap on season 4 theboystv Massive Thank you to our phenomenal crew & cast Love you guys ! I’m not allowed to post any photos from set ….soooo Here’s a snap of Jeffrey Dean Morgan & moi on the set of a Cadillac commercial (…) Season 4 (…) Coming soon …ish”.
Seemingly teasing that the release date for the fourth season may be coming sooner than expected, however, a solid release date has not yet been announced as of writing this article.
New Look At ‘The Boys’ Season 4 (Image)
The two actors are supposedly filming a Cadillac promo for The Boys Season 4 in this new image, to prepare for the fourth series’ instalment beginning its marketing campaign, which is expected to begin sometime mid to late-2023.
Jeffrey Dean Morgan and The Boys fans now know what to expect in regard to Morgan’s mysterious character, with details being shared in the past, however, this first decent look reveals that Morgan’s character will be a suit and most probably work for the U.S. Government.
Despite this not being a direct set photo from the fourth season of The Boys, their dress sense makes it pretty clear that the two actors are in character while filming promo material for the upcoming season.
The Boys Season 4 is expected to release sometime in mid to late-2023 or early 2024, exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.
