Ryan Reynolds has officially been spotted on the Marvel Studios’ Deadpool 3 set as new set images from the threequel emerge online.
This will be the first time that fans of Reynolds’ Wade Wilson aka Deadpool see a Deadpool instalment somewhat set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Since Disney bought Fox, the entire X-Men movie series rights belong to its rightful home of Marvel Studios, Deadpool 3 being one of the old franchises to continue.

However, there has been no sign that the X-Men movies starring cast members like James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender will be treated to further sequels.
Although it’s possible that more past mutant cast members from the Fox days are set to return as fans have already seen the likes of Patrick Stewart’s Professor X return, just not the exact same “variant” that we got to see during his original X-Men movie days.
Wolverine himself, Hugh Jackman, is also set to reprise his role alongside Reynolds in Marvel Studios’ 2024 Deadpool 3 movie.

Additionally, this will also mark the second time that he stars as Wade Wilson alongside Hugh Jackman’s Logan aka Wolverine.

They also report that a stunt double also wearing the Deadpool costume was spotted on the set, just “minus the eyes”.
Filming & Scene Details Revealed
It is said that the scene being filmed had something to do with the filming of a car crash of some kind, where various cars were used to make the shot.
At least two cars were seemingly used for the shoot, one that looked fine and the other that looked completely totalled for the “car crash” scene.

It’s likely that the car could potentially have included a group of bad guys that Deadpool was hunting down, similar to the opening of Deadpool.
However, it is currently unclear as to who, what, or why the car crash scene was being filmed, just that it was definitely for Deadpool 3.

Director of the movie and Stranger Things producer Shawn Levy was also spotted and can be seen alongside Reynolds in the images below.
If you look closely at the head popping out from above a piece of filming equipment, that is Levy hard at work on the first MCU-Deadpool movie.
Joining Reynolds and Jackman include Morena Baccarin as Vanessa, Matthew Macfadyen, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Rob Delaney as Peter, Karan Soni as Dopinder, Emma Corrin, Shioli Kutsuna as Yukio, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, and Stefan Kapicic as Colossus.
More casting announcements will be made at a later time.
Deadpool 3 is currently set to release on May 3, 2024.
