Blue Beetle may have just been released in cinemas recently but there is one more DC film that is still to come out this year and that’s Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.
No trailer or footage has been shared with the public since early 2022 and there have also been no official posters that have been released and it’s less than 4 months away.
Aquaman 2 has had a very long journey. From getting greenlit quickly after the success of the original film back in 2018, to suffering numerous delays thanks to COVID-19 and the Production pushbacks.
The movie now finally has a date and after the recent Warner Bros. delays, it looks like it’s safe to say that Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is staying in the spot.
Jason Momoa’s Aquaman 2 Promo Art
Just like with most leaks we get for comic book movies, the toys have done it once again.
Some leaked merch from Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom that ActionToyNow posted on Instagram showcases the first promotional art we see of Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry/Aquaman.

This toy set is named Aquaman vs. Black Manta and shows Aquaman with his trident while Black Manta is also sporting what seems to be a new trident of his own which we’ve not seen before.
Aquaman Vs. Black Manta Imagery
The back of the toy box shows Aquaman and Black Manta fighting with what looks to be Black Manta’s submarine.

Knowing how Toys operate, it is likely that this is only for the toy and is not something we will see in the film but as nothing has officially been shown yet except for some footage from a sizzle reel released back in 2022.
Will Aquaman 2 Be Delayed?
Some people may be worried that the film could be getting delayed but as iterated earlier, I believe after surviving the recent delays at the studio, the film is safe and will be sticking to date. With the strikes still taking place though, it’s hard to be 100% certain with anything.
