First Look: It’s official, Seth Rollins, aka Seth “Freakin” Rollins, has joined the cast of Marvel Studios’ 2024 sequel Captain America: New World Order, as he was spotted filming on the set today Tuesday, May 16, with images and videos revealing the WWE star.

Rollins whose real name is Colby Daniel Lopez, with Seth Rollins just being his WWE ring name, has been signed as a professional wrestler with the World Wrestling Entertainment since 2010, now jumping from the ring into the movie world.

Set images and videos of various cast members filming for the new Captain America movie, including Anthony Mackie who plays the titular character, were posted online today by Twitter user @Christo45951886, with the account posting crystal clear images of the first look of Rollins, and more, on set in full character costume.

Rollins can be seen in the image above in full character and costume as he films on set of the new MCU movie set to release next year, however, it has yet to be officially announced as to who he will be starring as.

Mackie was also spotted on the same set, most likely meaning that Rollins will either be teaming up with Captain America, or facing off against him, with the latter most likely being the safe assumption to go with.

The same Twitter user shared a quick clip of the cast filming, with what appears to be Rollins and his co-star exchanging something with a man in a blazer, which is quickly interrupted by something that alerts them to quickly look up to the sky.

This will no doubt be Mackie’s Captain America flying down via his mechanical wings to most likely put a stop to whatever they are up to, however, that is just a theory and this scene could be for something else entirely.

Rollins is yet to be added to the official IMDB page as of writing this, and an announcement by the cast and crew of Captain America: New World Order is expected to be made soon due to the reveal now being on social media for all to see.

Update: First Look At Falcon

New set images from New World Order have been shared by @ambrmidia on Twitter, which feature a better look at Sam Wilson’s suit in the movie, as well as a first look at Danny Ramirez as Falcon. You can view the images below:

The currently confirmed cast for the movie includes Anthony Mackie who plays the titular character Sam Wilson, Harrison Ford who will be stepping in as Thaddeus ‘Thunderbolt’ Ross, Shira Haas who plays Sabra, Liv Tyler who is returning to play Betty Ross for the first time since The Incredible Hulk alongside Tim Blake Nelson who returns as Samuel Sterns, aka The Leader, Carl Lumbly who will be reprising his The Falcon and the Winter Soldier role Isaiah Bradley, Danny Ramirez who will be starring as Joaquin Torres, the MCU’s new Falcon, with Xosha Roquemore whose character has yet to be revealed.

Sebastian Stan has also been credibly rumoured to be starring in the title, however, he has yet to have been officially spotted on the set of the movie.

Marvel Studios’ Captain America: New World Order is set to hit theatres on May 3, 2024.
