The first poster for Blumhouse’s Five Nights at Freddy’s movie was officially released today Wednesday, May 17 (UK) by Jason Blum himself, along with confirmation that it has yet to be officially rated, debunking recent rumours that it had been.
The poster itself features all four main animatronics standing alongside each other, from left to right, Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy, all designed identically to their game counterparts, besides the difference in graphics, of course.
“Can you survive Five Nights at Freddy’s” is plastered on the bottom of the poster, just above the labelled release date of October 27, which was already announced not too long ago, with this first poster giving the best look at the official logo yet.
Blumhouse’s FNAF Movie Not Yet Rated
Cleverly added, the bottom left of the poster not so clearly states that “this film is not yet rated”, despite recent rumours that the movie had been given a PG-13 rating, potentially meaning that it could be rated higher, however, PG-13 is still considered most likely.
Five Nights at Freddy’s isn’t known for being a gory horror, as the plot of the game series is more meant to frighten you with jump scares while also filling you with anxiety due to the constant suspense, something that will most likely call for a maximum of a PG-13 rating.

When Does The Trailer Release?
Blum’s teased announcement seems to only have been for the movie’s official poster reveal, however, marketing has now kicked off, so a first trailer release has become even more likely to drop any day now.
