The first set images from Disney’s live-action reboot of the classic animated Lilo & Stitch movie have been revealed online, showing a set design similar to a specific scene from the first movie, where Lilo gets into a bit of trouble with her rival, Myrtle, which fans of the franchise will surely remember as Lilo dives toward her in rage just before getting in trouble for it from her big sister, Nani, who will be played by Sydney Elizebeth Agudong in this new live-action adaptation.
These new images come from a Twitter account known by @reelnewshawaii, who captioned the post with “A little peek at the first set/location for the Lilo and Stitch movie that they’ve been filming at for the past two days.”, see all three images below, with banners that read “Hō’ike Hula Kauwela! Summer Hula Performance!”, a mixture of the same phrase written in Hawaiian and English.

Judging by the details shared by the Twitter user, it seems that the cast and crew of the live-action Lilo & Stitch movie have been filming in the location seen in the images below for the last two days or so, with more days at this location assumed to be used throughout the following week.
Newcomer Maia Kealoha will be playing the live-action Lilo in this new take, she will most likely be filming scenes in this very location due to this location being a prime Lilo moment from the 2002 animated Lilo & Stitch, however, images of Kealoha have yet to be revealed online.
