Scott Cawthon and Steel Wool Studios’ Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted 2, the virtual-reality aka VR horror sequel game, is still reportedly aiming to release sometime in December 2023.
According to @JonnyBlox on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, an employee “working the booth at PAX West” revealed the info.

This information has not yet been officially confirmed by either the developers or publisher of the upcoming Help Wanted 2 VR game.
However, JonnyBlox noted that this ETA aligns with a previous Help Wanted 2 estimated release date comment made by YouTooz.
What We Know So Far
As mentioned, Help Wanted 2 is a virtual-reality video game set in the same universe as Cawthon’s iconic Five Nights at Freddy’s franchise.
Its first instalment Help Wanted was released in 2019 for Oculus Rift and HTC Vive VR headsets as well as for the PlayStation VR headset on PlayStation 4.

Help Wanted 2 is the tenth mainline instalment so far in the popular Five Nights at Freddy’s video game series, and the third in the franchise to be developed by Steel Wool Studios and published by Scott Cawthon.
Fans of Freddy Fazbear and his animatronic gang, who are lucky enough to own a VR headset that’s compatible with the game, have been eagerly anticipating a Help Wanted 2 gameplay reveal.

However, the studio has been keeping it tightly sealed, with exceptions such as exclusive gameplay being shown during their PAX West presence this year.
Steel Wool’s Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted 2 is reportedly set to release this December.
