Blumhouse’s Five Nights at Freddy’s movie director Emma Tammi took to Reddit today Tuesday, October 24 to attend an “Ask Me Anything” or “AMA” as it is better known – to discuss all things FNAF.
During the AMA, Tammi managed to respond to a fair few questions about the upcoming live-action adaptation of the popular Five Nights at Freddy’s video game series, one question being about a post-credit scene.
Five Nights At Freddy’s Post-Credits
When asked if there would be any reason to stick around for a post-credit scene, director Tammi responded cryptically by saying “Keep an eye on the credits, you never know what might pop up.”
This seems to be a subtle way of saying that there is indeed something to see during the end credits of the Blumhouse 2023 horror flick, potentially a tease cliffhanger-type scene for the sequel that fans hope for.
Matthew Lillard, who plays the sinister antagonist William Afton aka Springtrap or Spring Bonnie, confirmed that he had signed up for a 3-picture-deal with Blumhouse for the live-action FNAF movies.
However, it’s yet to be confirmed if Blumhouse will green light a sequel as they typically wait to see their audience’s response to their horror movies – it’s likely a sequel will go into development though.
Blumhouse’s Five Nights at Freddy’s comes to theatres and to Peacock for streaming on Oct. 27.
