SPOILERS INSIDE!
Blumhouse’s Five Nights at Freddy’s is now playing in UK theatres and is set to release in the US this Friday, October 27.
Now that the live-action adaptation of the popular video game series with the same name is out, fans finally got to find out if the movie has a post-credit scene or not – and it did!
Five Nights At Freddy’s Post-Credit Scene: Balloon Boy
YouTuber Cory DeVante Williams aka CoryxKenshin appears during the post-credit scene, again, in Blumhouse’s live-action Five Nights at Freddy’s movie where he stars as a taxi driver.
The YouTuber was also shown in the trailer for the movie and is popular amongst the FNAF community for being one of the original creators typically known for making the game so popular in the first place.
During the post-credit scene, Cory’s character is shown sleeping in his taxi moments before being woken up by a knocking sound coming from his passenger door.
Another fun nod during this scene is that the popular “Five Nights at Freddy’s” song by The Living Tombstone can be slightly heard coming from his taxi radio (kind of), as the song is played during the movie’s end credits.
Cory responds to the knocking by saying “No not today, sorry,” while shaking his hand around, however, despite Cory’s character saying no – somebody can be heard opening his passenger door and getting into the car.
Cory’s character opens his eyes while saying “I said, read the sign,” before quickly realising that the passenger is in fact Balloon Boy – another fan-favourite animatronic character from the original game series.
Five Nights at Freddy’s comes to theatres and on Peacock in the US on October 27 – and is now playing in theatres in the United Kingdom as of October 25.
