Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 has been out for a week now and we’ve gotten some some insight on the story so far and who some of the characters we’re following are.
Thanks to the Snapshot Quests, we were able to find out what Nolan Chance was up to and why Antonia doesn’t like Nolan.
Previously On Fortnite
Last season, we had Slone, who woke up after the Collision event and was found in the jungle.
She’s rescued by Relik who’s the explorer of Rumble Ruins. Slone begins to explore the jungle alongside The Explorers in the hope of finding out the truth about The Ancients.

She ends up discovering The Apparatus and requests The Looper (The Player) to collect Kinetic Ore to power it up. They eventually powered up The Apparatus and activated it, revealing a stellar projector that was able to manipulate light using the Kinetic Ore.
It showed a projection of The Eclipse, this projection is what caused The Ancients to leave the island as they realised Kado Thorne, the vampire, was coming after them.
What’s Happening Now In Fortnite
The Eclipse has come and with that, Kado Thorne has finally arrived on the island. As of now, we know that Kado Thorne is using a time travelling machine to go back in time and reacquire different Mythic items from previous seasons.
Now that he’s here, Slone has gone out of her way to hire Nolan Chance, a well-renowned thief, to build a heist crew and to get what is inside Thorne’s vault. The Time Traveling machine, it is clear that this is what Slone wants but the reason why is still unknown.
Nolan Chance asks The Looper to scout the estates by making them do things such as taking a look into Thorne’s security systems, testing out EMPs, seeing how stealthy the Looper can be and training them for the job. The Looper eventually gets contacted by Antonia who is Nolan’s ex-partner in crime.

They have some bad blood after Nolan abandoned her on their last mission, this also seems like he did the same thing with the rest of his crew. Still upset about the previous mission, Antonia has decided to take revenge by taking this job from Nolan. She goes to The Looper to help her with it, who agrees as The Looper doesn’t really care who’s in charge.
Antonia makes The Looper take out more guards and place the scanner inside the vault to find the hidden item that Slone wants. Nolan finds out and decides that he wants to join, The Looper decides to let him in but Nolan tells them to lay low and to instead recruit some more members for the heist as his old crew is not likely to return. The Looper fails to hire anyone to join the crew which results in Nolan being forced to ask for his old crew’s help.

That is everything that has taken place in the story so far for Chapter 4 Season 4. Why do you think Slone wants the time-traveling machine? Will Antonia betray Nolan in the future? Will Nolan’s old crew return to help? How will they stop Kado Thorne?
