Editor’s Update: Rockstar Games has now (as of November 11, 1 pm UK time) confirmed that the first trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 will indeed be released in December in celebration of their upcoming 25th anniversary.
Bloomberg reports that Rockstar Games plans to announce one of the longest anticipated games of all time, GTA 6, the sequel game to the still-to-this-day incredibly popular GTA V instalment.
It states in the report that Rockstar Games, a division of Take-Two Interactive Software Inc., plans to announce GTA 6 as early as this week, at least according to their sources.
GTA 6 Trailer Reportedly Incoming
Additionally, the same report, states that the company also intends to debut the first official trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI next month in celebration of Rockstar’s 25th anniversary (potentially on December 10, however, the date could be any day in December).
Bloomberg reported that their sources did not want to be identified but are close to the planning behind the sixth official Grand Theft Auto game, with details that a spokesperson for Rockstar didn’t immediately respond to their request for comment.
Regardless of who said what, details of a trailer for the highly anticipated game title being released for the company’s 25th anniversary seem fitting and would coincide well together.
It’s potential that Rockstar Games will announce something a little bit more concrete prior to the time, however, it’s also likely that they will wait until the day to drop the trailer along with their other anniversary planned announcements.
