Chukwudi Iwuji’s High Evolutionary is revealed to be very much alive in the latest deleted scene from James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

Rocket the Racoon has imprisoned the High Evolutionary, as revealed in the new scene, who appears to be extremely anguished post-events of the third Guardians movie.
High Evolutionary’s Fate Revealed In Deleted Scene
Stuck in a cage just as his animal victims were for many years, including Rocket himself, who underwent many painful experiments performed by the High Evolutionary and his loyal followers.
It’s currently unclear as to if the High Evolutionary will be seen again in a future MCU project, as this scene was in fact deleted which could imply the opposite.
However, it’s extremely likely that a character of his stature will be seen at least once again just as many other important characters have returned for Marvel Studios.

Rocket imprisoning the High Evolutionary in this new deleted scene is poetic justice at its finest, how long he will remain in this cage remains a mystery.
Unless the High Evolutionary goes through a Negan-like transformation as seen in The Walking Dead, it’s possible he’ll use his smarts to escape and wreak havoc once again.
The High Evolutionary may also come to his senses and realise what he has done wrong all these years and may even go through a future redemption arc.
As of writing, the return of Iwuji’s High Evolutionary has not been announced by the people over at Marvel Studios and Disney.
Adam… Warlock? “I like Adam”
Another fun moment from this newly released deleted scene is an exchange between Will Poulter’s Adam and Sean Gunn’s Kraglin.
Kraglin: “What’s your name?”
Adam: “Adam”
Kraglin: “Adam? No. Adam ain’t no hero name. You need something metal, something cool like Molly Hatchet, Iron Maiden, Def Leppard, something cool like that. Think about it.
Adam: “I like Adam”
Kraglin: “Adam by iteself sucks.
This whole exchange is just a tease that Poulter’s Adam will eventually go by the name Adam Warlock just as he did in the original comics by Marvel.
As to when or where Adam Warlock will pop up next has not yet been announced, some speculation suggests that he will receive a dedicated Disney+ series.
