Harrison Ford (Star Wars, Indiana Jones) has responded to the recent image of him wearing ripped trousers while filming on the set of Captain America: Brave New World.
Ford will be taking on the role of Marvel’s Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross who was formerly played by the late William Hurt. The character is also known as the Red Hulk over on the comics side of things. Something Marvel fans have been waiting to see in live-action since The Incredible Hulk was released in 2008.
The image in question shows Ford and titular star Anthony Mackie slyly showing off the sequel’s new title change from New World Order to Brave New World. However, if you look closely, you will see that Ford’s trousers are torn up.
This has been the talk of the fandom as of late as the torn-up trousers may be indicating that Ford will be hulking out as the Red Hulk. Trousers typically don’t last very long when say Bruce Banner hulks out.

The tearing of the clothes has been an iconic visual aid to show the extreme physical changes that humans go through during the transition. It should be noted that Ford’s Red Hulk has been long expected to appear in the upcoming sequel. It just hasn’t been confirmed by the cast and crew of the movie.

See below for Ford’s full response to the recent image.
While talking with ComicBook about his upcoming Indy sequel titled Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, Ford was questioned about the recent image.
“I would get straight up fired if I did not ask you about the recent photo from the Captain America set of you. The eagle-eyed viewers noticed you were wearing ripped pants. Might we be seeing a Mr. Ford as the Red Hulk?”
“What is the Red Hulk? (…) Well it may or may not [happen].”

If Ford’s telling the truth, which is impossible to tell when asking him about spoilers, then there may very well be no Red Hulk in Captain America: Brave New World.
The Blade Runner star is famously known for having a talented skill to deflect any spoiler-digging questions. This is mostly due to his natural gift to hold a straight face. Not to mention the multiple large franchises he has starred in.

Marvel Cinematic Universe fans will just have to wait until the movie releases to finally find out if Ford will be debuting the Red Hulk for the first time in the MCU.
