New footage of a Henry Cavill Superman cameo from The Flash has been revealed in a recent TV spot. Sasha Calle’s Supergirl will be the main Kryptonian throughout the movie. However, Cavill’s Superman will still have some presence at some point during the DC epic.

It was announced just last year that Cavill would not be returning to star as Kal-El aka Clark Kent aka Superman in the new James Gunn and Peter Safran era of DC over at Warner Bros. Pictures. It is no secret that a new Superman is coming to Warner Bros. Pictures’ DC Universe in Gunn’s Superman: The Brave and the Bold as The Flash is set to officially say goodbye to Cavill’s Superman.
New Henry Cavill Superman Cameo In ‘The Flash’
The cameo is short and Cavill himself is not shown from the front. It seems that the Superman shown is most likely just a CGI version in the style of Cavill’s Superman as seen in movies such as Man of Steel, Batman Vs. Superman, and Zack Snyder’s Justice League.
Ezra Miller’s Barry Allen aka The Flash looks up in awe to a news channel reporting news on something Superman-related. A brief couple of seconds reveal Superman to be eye-lasering some sort of volcano that is oozing lava toward Guatemala.
