It’s not long now until Ncuti Gatwa’s iteration of the Doctor is officially revealed in its full glory this November.
We’re now less than half a year away from the 14th season of Russell T. Davies‘ Doctor Who premiering which is set to provide some answers as to what’s going on.
Such as the return of David Tennant’s Doctor alongside the fellow return of past companion Donna Noble played by Catherine Tate.

Most fan questions will remain unanswered until the series officially premieres, however, one answer has been recently revealed.
That is the question as to how many episodes season 14 will have seeing that the episode counts in recent seasons have fluctuated over the years.
Doctor Who’s Season 14 Episode Count Revealed
Doctor Who showrunner Russell T. Davies confirmed with the show’s official magazine that the 14th season will contain a total of 8 episodes.
All five blocks in production, with eight regular episodes plus four Specials in varying states of readiness.

The count itself does make sense though when compared to modern TV shows such as Stranger Things, and The Last of Us, among various others.
This seems to be the new way of telling stories through the medium of series as budgets go up and episode counts go down.
Doctor Who season 14, starring Ncuti Gatwa and Millie Gibson, premieres this November 23.
