First announced with a video, Deadpool 3 is set to be the most stacked movies of all time. Recent rumors point towards time travel, Agent Mobius, and the TVA getting involved with Deadpool in the threequel. It will be interesting to see whether the MCU attributes the TVA’s involvement to Deadpool 2, which would make the events canon.
Hugh Jackman is set to make his MCU debut as Wolverine in Shawn Levy’s Deadpool 3, and will finally come face to face with Ryan Reynolds‘ Deadpool. The movie is untitled as of the present, but Hugh has a few ideas about what it could be. While we have a long way till this movie’s release, the cast has already teased what we can expect – complete chaos.
Deadpool & Wolverine’s Unique Dynamic
In an interview with People Magazine, Hugh Jackman teased the playful conflict between Wolverine and Deadpool in Deadpool 3, and addressed the new dynamic between the duo we will witness in the threequel.
“When I keep thinking of me and Ryan, of Deadpool and Wolverine, which are classic comic-book rivals, there’s also a dynamic that I’ve never really got to do before as Wolverine. I just thought, ‘This is gonna be fun. Something I’ve never done before. I can’t wait.'”
Jackman added that he “honestly” thought he was “done” playing Logan before he went through the script for Deadpool 3.
“I was at peace with it. I got asked every day, either in interviews or Ryan Reynolds [saying,] ‘Can we do it again?’ and I’m like, ‘No, I’m done.'”
He mentioned that he was looking forward to meeting Ryan on set, and that he’ll “probably have more fun on this movie than any other [he’s] ever done.”
“I think being on set with [Ryan] every day and those two on film in every city together everyday … I think it’s fair to say they’ll be punching the s— out of each other the whole time. All jokes aside, I’ll probably have more fun on this movie than any other I’ve ever done.”
Deadpool 3 releases in theaters on November 8, 2024.
