Winona Ryder and Jenna Ortega (Wednesday) were spotted today on the set of Beetlejuice 2 filming as Lydia Deetz and Lydia’s daughter.
Ryder’s Lydia Deetz is a returning character as many fans of Tim Burton’s iconic first instalment Beetlejuice are well aware of.

Ortega, who was born 14 years after the sequel’s predecessor, joins the franchise as the currently unnamed daughter of Ryder’s Lydia Deetz.
Beetlejuice 2 Set Images Revealed
The Scream and Stranger Things stars were both spotted in Hertfordshire, England, on a Wednesday of all days which seems fitting.
Both Ortega and Ryder attended the set to film a wedding scene, however, not much is known as to why or whose wedding it is.

Judging by Ortega’s white gown, it’s fair to speculate that this wedding might just be for her character, to who remains unclear.

Joining Ortega, as mentioned, was Ryder as Lydia Deetz who sported much less bright attire as she appears to look exactly the same as she did in Burton’s first Beetlejuice movie.

To no surprise, Michael Keaton was not seen on the set which will most likely be due to the fact he is a ghost and this is out in public.
Joining Ortega and Ryder in Beetlejuice 2 includes the return of Keaton as Beetlejuice and Catherine O’Hara as Lydia’s mother Delia.
Monica Bellucci joins the franchise as Beetlejuice’s Wife alongside Willem Dafoe, Justin Theroux, Gianni Calchetti, and Leah Perkins.
Tim Burton returns to direct as well as producing with Danny Elfman returning to compose the sequel’s score.
Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice 2 releases on September 6, 2024.
