Juno Temple (Ted Lasso, Horns) is currently in negotiations to co-star in the Sony and Marvel sequel Venom 3, alongside Tom Hardy who is returning as the titular character, with new information coming from Deadline that Temple is up for a lead role in the movie.
Currently, Venom 3 only has Tom Hardy confirmed to appear with plot and casting details being kept tightly under wraps, which should be no surprise to the typical Marvel fan, however, with these new details being revealed, it’s safe to assume more announcements may be released soon.
Temple has starred in many projects throughout her career, such as the 2007 St. Trinians reboot and the massively popular tv series entitled Ted Lasso, where she co-stars alongside Jason Sudeikis, Brett Goldstein, Hannah Waddingham, plus more with Temple now setting her eyes for a large comic book movie franchise in the Marvel realm of Hollywood.
Who Is Juno Temple Playing In ‘Venom 3’?
Details as to who Temple is in talks to play for the third live-action Venom instalment has not yet been revealed by the studio, cast or crew of Venom 3, with details being kept secret.
Marvel fan speculation is expected to start flooding the web until an official announcement has been made, with Temple being up for a lead role, it could be a safe bet that she will be playing the main or at least one of the antagonists unless the Ted Lasso star is up for a Marvel hero role.
Venom 3 Plot Details, Theories, Speculation
Spoiler: Tom Hardy Venom fans last got to see Eddie Brock in the post-credit scene of Spider-Man: No Way Home, where Hardy was briefly teased to exist in the main MCU Spider-Man universe for less than a day to a multiverse spell gone wrong.
Sony and Marvel have been teasing crossovers between their Spider-Man franchises for years now, with the merging of three franchises in No Way Home already being implemented, it’s been highly anticipated for some time now that more is to come, especially between Hardy’s Venom and Holland’s Spider-Man as a piece of Venom’s symbiote was literally cut off and left behind in the main Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Hardy’s Marvel character does not exist in the main MCU universe, however, a piece of his Venom symbiote now does, which clearly indicates more crossovers will make their way to the big screen for years to come, giving Marvel fans plenty to be excited about.
Venom 3 will most likely be set in the universe that the previous two instalments have been set in, but with the multiverse now being a factor in both Holland and Hardy’s universes, it could be possible that Tom Holland may have something to do with the sequel.
Venom 3 has no set release date as of writing this article, filming is set to begin this summer.
