Since the debut of Charlie Cox’s Daredevil and Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, fans of the Marvel-Netflix era have been patiently waiting for more. When the 18-episode Disney Plus series Daredevil: Born Again was announced, the internet filled up quickly with theories on who else would be joining the cast. There has now been a new report from industry insider Daniel Richtman that Deborah Ann Woll may not be among the list of large roles to appear throughout the now MCU Daredevil series.
It states in the report that Deborah Ann Woll may simply just not have enough time due to scheduling conflicts to actually star alongside Charlie Cox in Daredevil: Born Again. It does, however, mention that this may not exclude her Karen Page character altogether, but just may prevent her from having a larger role. Attached to the report is a comment from the insider, responding to whether or not Karen Page will appear in the show with uncertainty. Now, this report comes with no confirmation from any official studio, which must be kept in mind when reading.

Deborah Ann Woll Scheduling Conflicts
According to the details from this new report, Deborah Ann Woll has signed on to star in the Twin Flames podcast series, starring alongside Stephanie Beatriz. It seems that no official confirmation has been made as of writing this article, but if true, this could apparently prevent her from having the time to film for Marvel Studios at the same time. It could seem hard to believe that an 18-episode Daredevil show would exclude one of the original, and main, characters from all three Daredevil seasons. Not to mention the countless appearances of Deborah Ann Woll’s Karen Page throughout the whole Defenders-saga during the Marvel-Netflix days.
However, consider this piece of news a rumour until we are provided official details from Disney and Marvel Studios, hopefully, Karen Page won’t be missing from the new MCU adaptation of Daredevil. There are countless characters from the Netflix shows that truly deserve their own MCU makeover, just as Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock has been treated. It was to be expected that the Marvel Cinematic Universe will be taking their time to introduce each character nicely and carefully, let’s just hope it doesn’t take too long!
