Guardians of the Galaxy’s Holiday Special has officially landed on Disney Plus, letting fans of the MCU dig through each and every frame for easter eggs. Director James Gunn is known for including dozens of little easter eggs that would usually go unnoticed. However, since his debut in the first Guardians of the Galaxy, fans know now to examine every single pixel on the screen.
You can read our official review of the “Guardians Of The Galaxy Holiday Special” right here, this article however will focus on some cameos spotted during a couple of scenes in the special. The cameo in question is that of Kumail Nanjiani’s Kingo from Eternals, but not your usual cameo, see below.
Kingo Posters Spotted In The Guardians Special
The special was packed full of references to the past, easter eggs from the comics, and even some fun little cameos from the MCU.
Kingo’s cameo doesn’t come in the form of an actual appearance of sorts, but, more in the form of a movie poster, well literally in the form of a movie poster in fact.
Spotted by @MarvelThaiFan on Twitter, two of Kingo’s movie posters can be seen in the background during the scenes where Drax and Mantis visit Earth (Terra).
