Sony’s first official trailer for the live-action Kraven the Hunter movie starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson is now being reported online to drop on Wednesday, June 21, at Sony Pictures Entertainment’s CineEurope presentation.
Sony Pictures Entertainment’s CineEurope presentation begins today Monday, June 19 and lasts until Thursday, June 22. The Spider-Man villain’s movie will see Johnson take on the mantle of Marvel hunter Kraven, his second role in the Marvel world.
Johnson originally starred as Pietro Maximoff aka Quicksilver, the brother of Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda Maximoff, in Avengers: Age of Ultron. However, due to the events of the movie, his character has not returned to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Now, Johnson will lead a Sony Spider-Man Universe movie and maybe even one day go toe-to-toe with the web-slinger himself.
