Liv Tyler (The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, The Incredible Hulk) has officially been spotted on the set of Marvel Studios’ 2024 movie Captain America: New World Order, as she reprises her MCU role as Betty Ross, daughter to Thunderbolt Ross.
Tyler played Betty Ross in Marvel Studios’ 2008 movie The Incredible Hulk, where she starred alongside Edward Norton who then played Bruce Banner, aka the titular character otherwise known as the Hulk, who is now played by Mark Ruffalo in the Marvel Cinematic Universe – Tyler has yet to share a scene with Rufallo’s version of the character.
New Set Images Showing Liv Tyler In Cap 4
The news only broke yesterday that Tyler had indeed joined the cast of Marvel Studios’ Captain America: New World Order to return as Betty Ross, with these new set images emerging in less than 24 hours from the official announcement.
In the new set images, which you can see below, Tyler can be seen filming some sort of funeral scene along with Anthony Mackie on set, of course, playing the MCU’s newest version of Captain America, real name Sam Wilson.
Shira Haas, who will be playing a character called Sabra in Captain America 4, can also be seen alongside Tyler in these new set images from Marvel Studios’ latest production.
More Set Images Reveal Cap’s Broken Arm
Additional set images shared from the same source include Anthony Mackie wearing an arm-sling while filming as Captain America, seemingly revealing that Sam Wilson will break his arm at some point during the movie, as Wilson doesn’t possess superstrength or other powers, unlike his fellow Avengers teammates.
Alongside Mackie is a new joiner to the MCU, Xosha Roquemore, whose character has yet to be revealed by the cast and crew working on the fourth Captain America instalment.
Captain America: New World Order will be released in theatres on May 3, 2024.
