The actor, best known for his role as Kevin McCallister in the first two Home Alone movie instalments back in the early 1990s, will receive his star in the category of Motion Pictures.
He’ll be presented with the Walk of Fame’s 2,765th star during a presentation and ceremony that will take place on December 1st at 6354 Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood.
Beetlejuice star Catherine O’Hara, who played Macaulay’s mother in Home Alone (1990) and Home Alone 2 (1992), will be a speaker at the presentation ceremony, as will Natasha Lyonne who starred alongside him in 2016’s Adam Green’s Aladdin.
Martinez also said, in regards to Macaulay receiving his star, “How fitting that Catherine O’Hara who played Macaulay’s mother in the film is reuniting with her movie son and will be speaking at the ceremony.”
Culkin may be best known for his Christmas classic, however, the star has a large list of additional credits to his name such as 1994’s Richie Rich and 1991’s My Girl.

The actor’s performances growing up led to instant stardom, ranking him as one of the most famous child actors of all time, as well as being extremely successful career-wise.
Being one of the most famous child stars allowed Culkin to be a bit more choosy with which projects he starred in, as the star later began appearing in more modest and/or independent productions.
However, he has been attached to more well-known projects recently such as his role as Mickey in the massively popular TV series American Horror Story back in 2021.
He’s even had fun with the fact that his Home Alone movies are rewatched by millions every single year, starring in parodies such as the Google Assistant “Home Alone” video where he refilmed scenes as his character Kevin except this time all grown up.
