The next trailer for Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse has been rumoured to be coming out next Monday, April 3rd, 2023, along with teased details on something to do with Tom Holland, Andrew Garfield, and Tobey Maguire.
It wasn’t too long ago that Tom Holland was reported to be featured as a reference in Sony’s Into The Spider-Verse sequel Across The Spider-Verse, with a new rumour stating that fans will get to see Tom Holland, Tobey Maguire, and Andrew Garfield “next week”, the same week that the trailer has been rumoured to be released.
This new rumour comes from the popular Twitter user known as MTTSH, who is known for sharing rumoured details about the entertainment industry, however, it should be noted that these details have not been officially announced or confirmed by the cast and crew of Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse, so take it all with a pinch of salt.
MTTSH’s full tweet reads “You will see Tobey, Andrew and Tom again… NEXT WEEK”, which prompted a speedy response from dozens of Marvel fans speculating that the tweet’s caption was related to the report that the Across The Spider-Verse trailer will be coming out on April 3, as both rumoured reports were released at the same time.
It should also be noted that MTTSH has not explicitly mentioned that Holland, Garfield, and/or Maguire will be appearing in the next official Across The Spider-Verse trailer, as some fans speculated the three iconic Spider-Man actors could just be teaming up for a promotional event to help boost ticket sales for the Spider-Verse sequel.
Until official confirmation has been released by the cast and crew of the movie, fans will just have to wait and see what happens come next week and on April 3 to see if the trailer will indeed be coming out, unless Sony decides to verify any of the recent rumoured details prior to these dates – either way, a worthy calendar reminder for Marvel fans nonetheless.
Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse comes to theatres on the 2nd of June, 2023.
