Five Nights at Freddy’s Movie Spoilers Inside
YouTuber Matthew Patrick better known as MatPat has released a new video to talk about his secret live-action Five Nights at Freddy’s movie cameo role, something that didn’t take long at all to become well-known across the fandom.
In the new Blumhouse flick, MatPat stars as a waiter named “Ness” who serves some of the main characters lunch at a restaurant called “Sparky’s” – the role and restaurant’s names both being easter egg callbacks to the games.
Markiplier’s FNAF Movie Role Revealed
Despite the inclusion of MatPat in the movie, fellow YouTube and popular Five Nights at Freddy’s creator Markiplier was nowhere to be seen. This was solely due to Markiplier having scheduling conflicts with his current movie project entitled Iron Lung, another flick based on a video game of the same name.
Markiplier has revealed in the past that he was offered to play a role in the movie, a role that has now been fully revealed in MatPat’s latest video to be the Freddy Fazbear Pizzeria’s night security guard shown during the opening sequence of the live-action adaptation.

The security guard during the opening sequence is killed off by the sinister animatronics who are possessed by children ghosts, original victims of the franchise’s main antagonist William Afton – played by Matthew Lillard in the Blumhouse adaptation.

Five Nights at Freddy’s is now playing in theatres worldwide and can be streamed on Peacock from home.
