It was announced earlier this year that YouTuber Mark Fischbach, who is better known as Markiplier, is both starring in and directing a new horror.
His upcoming horror feature is based off of David Szymanski’s popular 2022 video game Iron Lung and will be titled with the same name.

Markiplier is bring the game into the live-action movie world by self-financing the project along with producing using his own penned script.
Szymanski’s original Iron Lung video game that only released last year was soon played by Markiplier on his main YouTube channel shortly after.
Now only a year after, the official live-action adaptation is coming to life.
Markiplier’s Iron Lung Set To Break Records
When addressing his audience with an update on both his personal life and his work on the upcoming horror feature, Markiplier teased that at least one record may be broken as far as the horror movie industry goes.
According to Markiplier, Iron Lung may just be set to break “the record for most blood used in a horror movie”, which is not an easy feat.
Currently, according to online horror buffs, Fede Álvarez’s 2013 soft reboot of Sam Raimi’s Evil Dead currently holds the record for most blood used.
According to Bloody Disgusting, the 2013 Evil Dead movie absolutely smashed through previous record holders by using a whopping 50,000 gallons of fake blood just for one single scene alone.
Which Markiplier teases his Iron Lung movie will top, something that horror movie fans will most likely appreciate upon release.

Starring alongside Mark “Markiplier” Fischbach includes fellow popular YouTuber Seán “Jacksepticeye” McLoughlin as the “Voice on Speaker #2”, with Elle LaMont and Caroline Kaplan whose characters remain unknown.
Creator Szymanski will also share writing credits alongside Markiplier.
