Marvel has announced a total of three new What If…? storylines with the earliest launching in March of 2024.
The new stories will look at What If…? scenarios for Marvel characters Loki, Valkyrie, Peter Parker aka Spider-Man, Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch, Marc Spector and Moon Knight, plus Venom.
Penguin Random House’s Random House Worlds will collaborate with Marvel Entertainment to bring the adult novel series to life.

In this story the Son of Odin aka Thor aka the God of Thunder and possessor of the mighty Mjolnir, is dead, with Loki being responsible.
It’s described that Loki killing Thor in this story was only meant to be a joke to tamper with Asgard’s Destroyer. Loki manages this by changing Thor’s course to Midgard aka Planet Earth.

Loki just means for this to be a prank, however, it all spirals out of control and unleashes death and destruction on New York City and the heroes sworn to protect it – most likely the Avengers.
Thor dies while fighting for New York City which leaves his father Odin “furious and heartbroken”. So much so that he banishes Loki to Earth as punishment which is almost parallel to the first Thor movie.
Loki then finds himself in a what sounds to be some sort of restaurant with a performance troupe known as the “Buffalo Bills”. He manages to find a new friend called Brian the Gecko who ends up being his companion.
While all this goes down Valkyrie is revealed to be on a mission to deliver Mjolnir to its next rightful heir, none other than Jane Foster. She convinces Loki to join her on this quest in honour of Thor’s final words.
Iron Man in this story vows revenge on all who call themselves gods due to losing so many of his allies and friends during the battle of New York City. He develops a new suit of armour using Asgard’s own weaponry, set on destroying any chances of Asgard ever travelling to Earth again.
Loki must stand up and fight for his home, against Iron Man by the sound of it, and answer the question ‘Am I truly worthy?’.
About What If… Wanda & Peter were siblings?

What If… Wanda & Peter were siblings? has yet to reveal its official description besides from what the title clearly states.
In this story Marvel’s Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch will be siblings with Peter Parker aka Spider-Man. Just as What If…? does in every other story, this reimagining will exist in another universe.

These two characters are amongst the most popular characters in the whole of Marvel’s roster. So it’s not surprising that a reimagined telling that includes them both together has been conjured up.
About What If… Marc Spector was a Host to Venom?
Release Date: October 2024
Similar to the previously mentioned title, What If… Marc Spector was a Host to Venom? has also not released a full description as of writing.
It’s clear by the title that Marc Spector will become a host to the Venom symbiote. It’s unclear as to whether or not he will also be tethered to Moon Knight while all of this goes down.

Maybe Spector’s Venom will take on another character who has been chosen by the God of the Moon known as Konshu.
The series will launch in 2024 with three titles. The first book in the series is WHAT IF…LOKI WAS WORTHY? A LOKI AND VALKYRIE STORY by Madeleine Roux, publishing on March 12, 2024, followed by WHAT IF…WANDA MAXIMOFF AND PETER PARKER WERE SIBLINGS?
