With just 2 weeks to go until Marvel Studios’ Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania releases in theatres, a new tie-in book for the movie has been announced.
The book, titled Look Out for the Little Guy, was announced with a special video from Paul Rudd, giving us a brief glimpse at what we can hope to read in the book.
The book was first mentioned in the San Diego Comic Con trailer for Quantumania, where Scott reads an excerpt from it to the audience. The trailer also revealed that the book was available as an audiobook as well. Just imagine a book, all narrated by Paul Rudd!
According to Marvel, the book will feature 20 short pieces, all about Scott’s adventures as Ant-Man, and Avenger, a fugitive, and as a dad.
The official description for the book reads:
In Look Out for the Little Guy, Scott Lang shares with the world a bracingly honest account of his struggles and triumphs, from serving time to being a divorced dad to becoming Ant-Man and joining The Avengers. These are stories of epic battles won and lost, as this everyman turned Super Hero finally tells all—from the official account of what really happened between The Avengers and Thanos to how shrinking down to ant-size really feels to the challenges of balancing the roles of hero and dad.
Across his many adventures big and small, Scott has gathered the wisdom of countless amazing experiences into this, the first memoir from a real-life Avenger. Once you learn the unforgettable details of his epic journey, you won’t need to be reminded . . . to look out for the little guy.
The in-MCU marketing campaign for the book also features a quote from Bruce Banner:
“Introduces the man behind the hero, and the hero I call friend.”
Bruce Banner
The book goes on sale on September 5. This may not seem to ring a bell for most people, but this is the very day Marvel’s ‘Marvel Studios The Marvel Cinematic Universe: An Official Timeline’ book releases!
